Medical Imaging Field Engineer, Biomedical & Diagnostic Equipment
Overview
Own field service for multiple imaging modalities in the Yuma, AZ area at Siemens Healthineers. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Angio, Xray, MR, CT, and NucMed systems with minimal supervision. You will train operators to ensure optimal system performance and maintain customer relationships while managing territory financials including revenue, expenses, and inventory. This role combines hands on technical work with administrative duties and requires driving to client sites daily.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and perform preventative maintenance on imaging equipment across multiple modalities
- 2Diagnose and repair systems to minimize downtime and deliver fast, effective fixes
- 3Train operators on system operation to ensure optimal performance and safety
- 4Manage territory finances, meeting or exceeding revenue and controlling expenses
- 5Coordinate with customers and peers, maintaining accurate administrative records and asset management
- 6Ensure compliance with safety, credentialing, and regulatory requirements
- 7Collaborate with field team to share knowledge and improve service quality
- 8Document service actions and part usage in company tools and databases
- 9Monitor and report on system performance and reliability across client sites
Requirements5
- 1Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; technical Associates preferred
- 23+ years experience as a biomedical engineer or medical technologist servicing diagnostic instruments
- 3Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 4Proficiency with service tools and test equipment
- 5Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining medical imaging equipment
