What You'll Do7
- 1Greet and check in patients, verifying demographics and insurance details.
- 2Schedule appointments and confirm visits via phone and Modmed.
- 3Collect copays and balances, recording payments accurately.
- 4Complete intake forms and authorizations before each visit.
- 5Coordinate with clinical staff, providers, and billing to ensure smooth flow.
- 6Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
- 7Handle high patient volume, prioritizing accuracy and speed.
Requirements8
- 12+ years front desk experience in a medical office.
- 2Experience in orthopedic, spine, or surgical practice preferred.
- 3Strong knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration workflows.
- 4Hands-on experience with Modmed EMR preferred.
- 5Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- 6Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- 7Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
