Medical Assistant, Spine Surgery Practice
Overview
You will own patient flow and clinical support at a high-volume spine surgery practice, assisting providers during exams and procedures. You will room patients, document histories, and coordinate with front desk and billing. You will master Modmed EMR and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards. This role offers direct experience with orthopedic and surgical care in a specialized team.

- 1Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories

- 3Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
- 4Coordinate with providers, front desk, and billing team for seamless patient flow
- 5Manage patient follow-up, referrals, and documentation
- 6Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Requirements7
- 12+ years experience as a Medical Assistant
- 2Experience in orthopedics, spine, or surgical practice
- 3Knowledge of EMR systems (Modmed preferred)
- 4Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care standards
- 5Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- 6Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- 7Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
Salary Insight
$46 - $48k per year
