Marathon Health seeks a skilled Medical Assistant to lead patient care at our Warrenville facility. What You'll Do11
- 1Escort patients to rooms and ensure thorough cleaning and stocking of exam spaces
- 2Review medical histories and collect updated health information from patients
- 3Take vitals administer medications and perform injections under physician supervision
- 4Partner with labs to coordinate testing and process results for timely delivery
- 5Develop individualized care plans addressing patient gaps and coordinate follow-up
- 6Manage front desk operations including scheduling, documentation, and patient check-in
- 7Process test results and communicate findings through appropriate channels
- 8Engage with community members to promote preventive care and health awareness
- 9Maintain clinical supplies and equipment for treatment activities
- 10Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve workflow efficiency
- 11Support outreach initiatives targeting specific patient populations
Requirements6
- 1Minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience in primary care settings
- 2National or state-specific MA certification or registration required
- 3Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- 4CPR and BLS certifications obtained before start date
- 5Phlebotomy experience is a plus
- 6Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
