What You'll Do11
- 1Escort patients to rooms and ensure thorough cleaning and stocking of exam spaces
- 2Review patient histories and collect updated health information
- 3Take vitals administer medications and perform various clinical tasks
- 4Coordinate lab testing and manage medication administration
- 5Develop individualized patient care plans and identify care gaps
- 6Handle front desk duties such as scheduling and patient check-in
- 7Process test results and communicate findings to patients
- 8Engage with community members to promote health outreach programs
- 9Maintain accurate medical records and prepare documentation
- 10Participate in patient outreach initiatives
- 11Manage clinical and office supplies and equipment
Requirements5
- 1Minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience in primary care settings
- 2National or state-specific MA certification or registration required
- 3Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program
- 4CPR and BLS certifications obtained before start date
- 5Phlebotomy experience preferred
