Requirements9

  • 1High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2Medical assistant diploma or two years of medical assistant experience or certified MA with two years experience
  • 3Phlebotomy skills preferred
  • 4Ability to lift and support 35 pounds handling patients medical equipment and supplies
  • 5Functional speech vision hearing and touch for fine hand manipulation
  • 6Must be able to push pull with 30 lbs and perform sliding transfers of 150 lbs with assistance
  • 7Physical stamina to sit stand walk lift squat bend and twist frequently
  • 8Exposure to chemicals hazardous waste blood and body fluids requires protective equipment
  • 9Respond quickly to changes in patient and unit conditions
