What You'll Do8
- 1Schedule appointments varying from 7:30a-5p with occasional late nights and rotating Saturdays
- 2Welcome patients and support their transition into care
- 3Take and record vital signs medical histories and health screenings
- 4Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures
- 5Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- 6Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing
- 7Document care accurately in electronic health records
- 8Partner with physicians nurses and teammates to deliver coordinated care
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or certified MA with 2 years experience
- 3Ability to lift 35 pounds handling patients medical equipment and supplies
- 4Functional speech vision hearing and fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion
- 5Physical stamina to stand sit walk lift squat bend and twist frequently
- 6Experience with pushing pulling sliding transferring and maneuvering foot pedals
- 7Exposure to chemicals hazardous waste blood body fluids and communicable diseases requiring protective equipment
