Medical Assistant Trainee Float Dublin, Healthcare Support & Lab Services
Overview
This role owns patient intake and front desk support while training to perform venipuncture and clinical tasks. You will be the first point of contact for patients, help manage schedules, and support the care team across in person and virtual services. You will complete clinical training within six months and grow into a Lab Services Specialist role.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient trust through CI CARE in every interaction and ensure a smooth in office experience including intake, scheduling, and follow up
- 2Own front of house duties such as check in check out insurance verification and paperwork while maintaining office standards
- 3Design team support through rounding huddles problem solving and assisting providers with ad hoc requests
- 4Ship and master technology tools including Slack G-suite Zoom 1Life to interact with team and patients
- 5Drive opening and closing duties to keep patient and staff spaces organized and well stocked
- 6Scale patient communication and outreach to improve satisfaction and access to care
- 7Lead documentation and billing processes ensuring accurate patient information and follow up
- 8Develop competencies in phlebotomy and other clinical support tasks through One Medical training with state requirements
- 9Ship best in class venipuncture support and assist with extended scope tasks as capabilities grow
- 10Own continuous improvement by seeking feedback and adapting to patient and team needs
Requirements8
- 1At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles
- 2Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- 3Excellent written and verbal communication
- 4High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5Proficiency with computer technology including typing internet and multiple software systems
- 6Experience working in collaborative diverse teams including remote environments
- 7Proven ability to build trust with patients and provide human centered care
- 8Demonstrated adaptability and quick learning in new tasks or changing environments
Salary Insight
$37 - $42k per year
