What You'll Do9

- 4Coordinate lab tests and imaging orders, tracking results and notifying patients within 24 hours.
- 5Call and fax prescriptions to pharmacies, verifying accuracy and insurance coverage.
- 6Manage patient flow to reduce wait times by 15% in the first 90 days.
- 7Stock exam rooms with supplies and sterilize instruments per OSHA guidelines.
- 8Support VBC (value-based care) initiatives by recording quality metrics in AthenaNet.
- 9Cover urgent care shifts on weekends, handling emergent situations with calm and professionalism.
Requirements10
- 11+ years experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting.
- 2CPR certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
- 3Completion of an accredited MA or CNA program with certification.
- 4Working knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding basics.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6Proficiency with EHR systems, specifically eClinicalWorks or AthenaNet.
- 71+ years experience in phlebotomy and specimen handling.
- 8Strong verbal and written communication skills for patient education.
- 9Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- 10Open availability including weekday and weekend shifts.
