Overview
You will install, repair, and fix warehouse machinery across Phoenix, AZ, at scale. Aerotek places you onsite with a leading logistics operation. You join a team of mechanics and electricians who keep automated systems running. PLC programming and electrical diagnostics separate top candidates. This contract-to-hire role pays $32.50/hr with a path to $42.60/hr.
What You'll Do8
- 1Install automated warehouse machinery, including conveyors and robotic arms.
- 2Repair mechanical breakdowns on PLC-controlled systems, using electrical schematics.
- 3Fix robotic actuators and sensors, ensuring production lines run without downtime.
- 4Diagnose faults in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, then replace worn parts.
- 5Own preventative maintenance schedules for high-speed sorting equipment.
- 6Document all repairs and parts usage in the maintenance log.
- 7Coordinate with shift leads to prioritize urgent machine failures.
- 8Test repaired equipment to verify safe operation and PLC logic.
Requirements7
- 1Mechanical installation experience with industrial machinery.
- 2Maintenance experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- 3Mechanical inclination to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
- 4PLC experience preferred, with ability to troubleshoot ladder logic.
