Sr. Mechatronics and Robotics Technician, Automated Systems

You will own advanced repair and maintenance of automated conveyor systems and robotic equipment in a high-volume distribution center. What You'll Do10
- 1Repair and maintain automated conveyor systems, pneumatic systems, and electro-mechanical equipment across the facility, achieving minimal downtime in the first 90 days.
- 2Install, configure, and replace components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders.
- 3Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures using blueprints and electrical schematics, implementing root-cause fixes within the first month.
- 4Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on conveyors and robotic equipment, documenting results in CMMS to meet quality standards.
- 5Provide detailed feedback on PM procedures and recommend improvements to maintenance programs, driving reliability gains by quarter two.
- 6Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues and perform accurate repairs on material handling equipment and automated control systems.
- 7Apply electrical and electronic principles to identify root causes of malfunctions and implement corrective actions within the first 90 days.
- 8Ensure all maintenance complies with OEM guidelines and safety standards, reducing risk in every task.
- 9Coordinate with operations and safety teams to plan complex maintenance activities, minimizing production impact while maintaining communication via Microsoft Office reports.
- 10Mentor less experienced technicians, sharing best practices on CMMS and troubleshooting, and step in as team lead when required.

- 14+ years conducting quality predictive and preventive maintenance on industrial or automated equipment.
- 24+ years repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 34+ years reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 44+ years hands-on knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
- 53+ years troubleshooting and diagnosing MHE systems.
- 64+ years working with MHE safety standards per OEM guidelines.
- 73+ years using CMMS for work orders and maintenance documentation.
- 81+ year with Microsoft Office products.
- 9Demonstrated ability to repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- 10Hands-on experience with automated conveyors, including motors, wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls.
- 11High school diploma or equivalent.
