Mechanic Tech ADESA
Overview
ADESA seeks a skilled Mechanic Tech to join our high production shop. You will perform diagnostic repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles while supporting daily operations. This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic service industry environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate A/C & Heater systems to diagnose cooling issues and identify leaks
- 2Perform brake inspections and measure lining, drums, and rotors
- 3Conduct road tests and adjust service brakes
- 4Check battery condition and clean electrical connections
- 5Test charging systems and replace belts
- 6Lubricate clutch components and inspect bearings
- 7Inspect cooling systems and perform minor repairs
- 8Test and maintain starting/cranking systems
- 9Repair lighting systems and electrical accessories
- 10Maintain driveline components through lubrication
- 11Service gas engines by adjusting oil levels and identifying leaks
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED preferred
- 22 to 3 years automotive repair experience
- 32 ASE certifications preferred
- 4Valid driver's license
- 5Ability to lift 50 pounds
- 6Physical stamina for standing and moving
- 7Strong attention to detail
- 8Reliable attendance record
- 9Basic computer literacy
- 10Experience with vehicle diagnostics
- 11Commitment to safety standards
