What You'll Do7
- 1Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately
- 2Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components
- 3Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to ensure optimal performance
- 4Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- 5Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems effectively
- 6Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed
- 7Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to shop safety protocols
Requirements5
- 1Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred
- 2Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including powertrain electrical systems suspension brakes and transmissions
- 3Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation
- 4Skilled in using hand tools power tools welding equipment and other mechanical repair instruments
- 5Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude; ability to communicate technical issues clearly to clients
Salary Insight
$35 - $56k per year
