What You'll Do10
- 1Cut and package authorized beef pork and poultry items per Save-A-Lot policies
- 2Wrap weigh and price meat displays adhering to COOL USDA and Save-A-Lot standards
- 3Label packages for COOL Food Safety Sanitation and Meat Cutter Resource Manual compliance
- 4Maintain proper date rotation in display cases and storage coolers
- 5Prepare meat cuts attractively on display counters
- 6Receive inspect and store deliveries preserving cold chain quality
- 7Follow SAVE-LOT policies covering COOL Food Safety Sanitation Meat POGs and Daily Manager Signoff
- 8Execute meat cutting list and assist with additional perishable tasks
- 9Protect company property funds and merchandise
- 10Work across multiple stores when required
Requirements10
- 1Age 18 years old
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Completed Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training Program within three months
- 4Prior experience cutting meat using knives slicers grinders cubing machines and power saws
- 5Strong oral and written communication abilities
- 6Excellent customer service skills
- 7Dependable flexible attitude
- 8Adherence to uniform dress code
- 9Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly and handle up to 100 lbs with assistance
- 10Stamina for standing walking and repetitive motion
