What You'll Do9
- 1Cut and package beef, pork, and poultry using knives and power equipment per company policy.
- 2Wrap, weigh, and price cuts of meat, labeling packages according to COOL, USDA, and company standards.
- 3Merchandise meat displays and update case signs to maximize sales.
- 4Maintain proper date rotation for dated and undated products in display case and cooler.
- 5Receive, inspect, and store meat deliveries, maintaining cold chain and quality.
- 6Ensure sanitation and quality standards daily, following all Save-A-Lot policies.
- 7Operate meat scales, mark down products, and follow inventory processes.
- 8Protect company property, funds, and merchandise at all times.
- 9Cross-train in other perishable and non-perishable duties as needed.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Complete Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training Program within 3 months.
- 4Previous cutting experience using knives, slicers, grinders, cubing machine, and power saw preferred.
- 5Effective verbal and written communication.
- 6Excellent customer service skills.
- 7Dependable and flexible schedule.
- 8Adhere to uniform dress code.
Salary Insight
$37 - $50k per year
