Material Handler, Printing/Manufacturing
Overview
You will own material flow for the 2nd shift at Steven Label, moving product between receiving, production, and shipping across our Santa Fe Springs facility. You will handle forklift and wave lift operations, supporting medical device label production at a company with ISO 13485 procedures. This entry-level role puts you on a team that feeds printing presses and ships to UPS, FedEx, and local customers. You will keep inventory accurate and work directly with manufacturing to keep lines moving.
What You'll Do8
- 1Pick up and deliver products using a company vehicle, including local customer deliveries.
- 2Operate forklift and wave lift safely to move materials around the warehouse.
- 3Receive, check, and organize incoming materials against work orders.
- 4Load and unload trucks using heavy equipment, verifying counts and condition.
- 5Prepare materials for manufacturing by following work instructions for each job.
- 6Package and prepare shipments via UPS, FedEx, or company truck for local delivery.
- 7Conduct monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate records in the system.
- 8Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized to meet ISO 13485 standards.
Requirements7
- 1Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 2Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a physical exam and drug screen.
- 3Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 5Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping labels.
- 6Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- 7Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform moderate lifting.
Salary Insight
