Manufacturing Test Design Lead
Overview
This role leads manufacturing test design for world-class consumer electronics. You will define test strategy and drive execution from prototype to mass production. Working with a team of Technical Program Managers, you own test readiness and quality. The role is onsite in San Jose, California, focused on Python, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
What You'll Do6
- 1Lead the design of manufacturing test solutions for consumer electronics products.
- 2Define test strategy and plan, covering functional, RF, and acoustic test.
- 3Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and readiness.
- 4Debug test issues and drive root cause analysis with engineering teams.
- 5Scale test infrastructure across multiple production lines and iterations.
- 6Drive test data analysis to monitor yield and product quality.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering for consumer electronics.
- 22+ years leading test design teams or projects.
- 3Hands-on experience with Python for test automation and scripting.
- 4Proficiency in LabVIEW or TestStand for test development.
- 5Experience with RF, acoustic, or sensor test equipment.
- 6Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality metrics.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Salary Insight
$80 - $105k per year
