Director of Analog Product and Test Engineering
Overview
Lead global Product Engineering and Test Engineering teams to own product development from silicon bring-up through production release. Drive new product introduction and manufacturing readiness while ensuring successful product characterization and production ramp. Foster accountability innovation and technical excellence by coaching engineering managers and leading cross-functional collaboration across IC Design Systems Engineering Package Engineering Reliability Quality Fab and AT manufacturing sites.
What You'll Do16
- 1Lead and develop global Product Engineering and Test Engineering teams
- 2Build a culture of accountability innovation continuous improvement and technical excellence
- 3Coach and mentor engineering managers and technical leaders
- 4Own product engineering activities from silicon bring-up through production release
- 5Drive new product introduction NPI and manufacturing readiness
- 6Ensure successful product characterization qualification and production ramp
- 7Lead yield improvement cost reduction and quality enhancement initiatives
- 8Manage product sustaining activities throughout the product lifecycle
- 9Support customer issue resolution through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- 10Oversee NPI test developments and release of production test solutions
- 11Improve test quality throughput coverage and cost efficiency
- 12Support test transfers outsourcing and manufacturing scalability
- 13Ensure robust production test coverage and continuous improvement
- 14Lead PTE team to collaborate with IC Design Systems Engineering Package Engineering Reliability Quality Fab and AT manufacturing sites on NPI and sustaining projects
- 15Drive Design for Test DFT and Design for Quality DFQ cross-functional efforts
- 16Drive cross-functional NPI execution and process optimization
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
- 215+ years of semiconductor industry experience
- 38+ years of engineering leadership experience managing global organizations
- 4Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing wafer fabrication assembly package qualification and high-volume production
- 5Experience with analog power management automotive or high-performance semiconductor products
- 6Proven success leading global cross-functional teams and complex product development programs
