You will own honeycomb panel fabrication for aerospace flight hardware at Chipton-Ross in Hanover, MD. You will work with lead technicians and supervisors to meet build requirements and schedules. This role supports inspection, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Program teams. You will operate hand tools and power machinery for metals, composites, and wood. You will work on cure cart platens and diving boards, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will own production processes for custom composite parts, executing non-standard tasks with CNC equipment and advanced materials. You work from blueprints and engineering specs, handling both layup and trimming operations in a high-mix facility. Your work gets reviewed for technical adequacy, but you operate independently after initial direction. This role offers exposure to aerospace-grade fabrication with clear growth paths.

Production Technician owns composite manufacturing operations at Karman Space & Defense, supporting hypersonic and strategic missile defense programs. You will produce composite assemblies using tape wrapping, compression molding, and hand layup, ensuring components meet ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Work with a team of engineers and technicians on mission-critical hardware, inspecting materials and adjusting equipment. This first-shift role offers direct impact on national defense projects and requires U.S. person status.

You will own manufacturing processes for composite and metal assemblies in a defense and space environment, driving quality and throughput. You will troubleshoot on the shop floor daily, working with CNC machining, SolidWorks tooling design, and Lean methods. You will collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams to implement corrective actions and support new product introduction.
