Manufacturing Associate, Assembly & Production
Overview
Join a Detroit-based manufacturing team where you own the assembly and quality of products from start to finish. What You'll Do7
- 1Assemble quality products using hand tools and assembly equipment, meeting daily production targets.
- 2Operate production machinery such as CNC machines and conveyor systems, monitoring output and quality.
- 3Inspect finished products against specifications, using calipers and gauges to verify dimensions.
- 4Package products for shipment, labeling boxes and palletizing orders according to ERP guidelines.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S principles and safety protocols.
- 6Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve line issues.
- 7Document production data in spreadsheets and MES systems for traceability.
Requirements8
- 11+ year experience in manufacturing or assembly, or completion of OSHA training.
- 2Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 3High school diploma or GED.
- 4Familiarity with ISO quality standards or GMP is a plus.
- 5Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, during peak production.
- 6Basic math skills for measurements and data entry.
- 7Reliable transportation to the Detroit facility.
- 8Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
