Overview

The People & Culture Manager at The Jewish Education Project leads the execution of people strategies supporting recruitment onboarding employee engagement learning and development performance management and overall employee experience. Reporting to the Managing Director of Data Systems and Strategy the role focuses on operationalizing vision through coordinated people processes and fostering a positive value driven workplace.

What You'll Do13

  • 1Coordinate and execute the administrative aspects of talent acquisition including job postings applicant screening and interview scheduling
  • 2Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process and coordinate hiring activities based on workforce planning decisions
  • 3Serve as a first point of contact for HR policies procedures and routine employee matters escalating complex issues to leadership
  • 4Maintain accurate HR records and employee files
  • 5Lead implementation of new HRIS system manage HRIS data entry and run standard reports
  • 6Leverage AI and technology to automate routine administrative work improve HR processes and enhance employee experience
  • 7Coordinate benefits administration and support annual open enrollment
  • 8Surface opportunities to improve HR processes and workflows for leadership consideration
  • 9Prepare HR metrics and reporting for leadership
  • 10Coordinate staff meetings celebrations Jewish learning and recognition programs to create an equitable engaging and productive employee experience
  • 11Promote the agency mission celebrate team successes and communicate core values
  • 12Build meaningful relationships with staff across all offices and departments to understand their experience
  • 13Support initiatives that strengthen The Jewish Education Project reputation as an employer of choice

Requirements11

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons experience in HR administration and people operations
  • 35+ years developing and scaling HRIS solutions using ADP
  • 41 year proven track record of implementing AI driven automation in HR processes
  • 53-5 years leading employee engagement initiatives that improve retention and satisfaction
  • 62-5 years experience with compliance regulations and statutory requirements
  • 71 year familiarity with cloud based HR platforms
  • 83-5 years managing multi office teams in a hybrid environment
  • 95+ years delivering onboarding and offboarding processes
  • 102-4 years coordinating professional development programs for diverse staff groups
  • 111 year demonstrating strong communication skills for sensitive feedback delivery
