What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct weekly meetings to direct engineering construction quality schedule and cost control
- 2Allocate resources and manage construction decisions aligned with company policies
- 3Ensure resource availability with expertise in tools processes supporting project execution
- 4Manage call-out teams and address after-hours emergencies weekends and holidays
- 5Visit sites to validate workmanship and verify material specifications
- 6Maintain budgets and report project status to management
- 7Lead wireline engineering projects including FTTP and modern technology integration
- 8Oversee wireline construction to guarantee completion within scope and budget
- 9Collaborate with materials coordinator to confirm job-specific supplies
- 10Take corrective actions with employees as needed
- 11Promote innovative solutions emphasizing accountability and efficiency
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years professional experience
- 2Minimum 0-2 years supervisory experience for supervisory roles
- 3Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT certification
- 4CDL license obtainable post-hire
- 5Strong organizational skills managing multiple simultaneous projects
- 6Self-motivated with collaborative communication abilities
- 7Knowledge of telecom industry regulations and quality construction practices
- 8Familiarity with CAD software Microsoft applications and OSHA/NEC training
- 9Experience with telecom certifications and quality construction methods
- 10Ability to reconcile engineering construction activities and manage change orders
