Construction Manager, Telecommunications Projects
Overview
You will coordinate construction projects for telecom, utility, and infrastructure clients across the U.S., working with Field Supervisors, crews, and Project Managers. This role owns scope review, scheduling, field coordination, and reporting for active job sites. You will guide teams using Fieldwire and Microsoft Excel, ensuring safety and quality on every project. As the entry point into Construction Management, you will develop planning and leadership skills while supporting multiple projects. This role stands out for its hands-on field presence and direct impact on project execution.
What You'll Do8
- 1Review assigned projects to understand scope, timelines, and requirements within the first 90 days.
- 2Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of field operations using Microsoft Excel and Google Earth.
- 3Provide direction and support to Field Supervisors and crews, ensuring alignment with project plans.
- 4Monitor job site progress and report updates using Fieldwire or similar tools.
- 5Coordinate materials, equipment, and field resources to keep projects on track.
- 6Maintain project tracking systems and ensure accurate reporting of production, timecards, and documentation.
- 7Communicate field updates, risks, and constraints to Project Managers.
- 8Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and PPE requirements on all sites.
Requirements9
- 13-5 years of telecom or construction experience.
- 2Prior experience in a field leadership role required.
- 3High School Diploma or GED required.
- 4Ability to read construction prints and use tools like Google Earth.
- 5Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- 6Experience with Fieldwire or similar project management tools preferred.
- 7Understanding of UG and aerial equipment, tools, trucks, and drills.
- 8Valid driver's license required; OSHA certification preferred.
- 9Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
