Overview

Lead a team of Construction Technicians delivering high-quality service while supporting Project Managers to achieve financial and operational goals. Oversee daily workload routing and ensure projects meet deadlines. Conduct QA inspections and provide coaching to drive performance. Own safety and quality through weekly team meetings and vehicle/tool checks. Drive results by resolving damage claims and handling customer complaints. Flexibility required for on-call rotations and emergencies.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Build and maintain daily workload routing for aerial underground and MDU projects
  • 2Ensure projects are completed to specifications within customer deadlines
  • 3Review technician time sheets for accurate coding and timekeeping
  • 4Perform QA inspections on technician work and investigate damage claims
  • 5Conduct weekly vehicle and tool inspections according to company guidelines
  • 6Lead weekly team meetings focusing on safety and quality standards
  • 7Call in locates for underground work and coordinate field logistics
  • 8Provide performance feedback and coaching in collaboration with HR
  • 9Maintain compliance with city codes for underground permits and restoration
  • 10Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting
  • 11Prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments

Requirements11

  • 15+ years experience in cable TV field operations including aerial and underground cable construction
  • 23-5 seasons of supervisory experience in technical fields
  • 3AWS Certified professional certification preferred
  • 4CPC Card credential required
  • 5Degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 6Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 7Ability to pass DOT physical examinations annually
  • 8Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and basic programming concepts
  • 9Experience with Python for automation tasks
  • 10Familiarity with AWS cloud services for infrastructure management
  • 11Proven leadership abilities with proven track record of motivating teams
