Maintenance Technician, Senior Living Facility
Overview
You will own the maintenance operations at Washington Pointe Las Colinas, a senior living community in Dallas, Texas. You will keep the physical environment safe and welcoming for residents, handling HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, and kitchen equipment. What You'll Do8
- 1Complete maintenance on HVAC units, elevators, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cords.
- 2Perform general and preventive maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned.
- 3Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
- 4Ensure vacant units are ready for move-in according to community standards.
- 5Diagnose and repair issues with plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances across the facility.
- 6Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
- 7Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs and inspections.
- 8Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 23+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
- 3HVAC Certified preferred.
- 4CPR Certified preferred.
- 5Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long periods.
- 6Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 7Working knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- 8Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
