Maintenance Technician, Senior Living & Facilities Management
Overview
Maintenance technician at a senior living community responsible for ensuring safe, well-maintained facilities at scale. What You'll Do7
- 1Build and perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems including electrical and plumbing
- 2Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff with timely resolution
- 3Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, and structural elements to minimize downtime
- 4Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of supplies
- 5Assist with safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- 6Support setup and breakdown of community events and activities as needed
- 7Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Requirements8
- 1Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- 2Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques
- 3Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- 4Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 5Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
- 6Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 7Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- 8Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
