Maintenance Technician, Property Management & Onsite Support
Overview
Maintenance technicians support property operations at our communities in Garland, TX with hands-on upkeep at scale. Youll own equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and resident-focused service alongside a collaborative onsite team. Youll report to property leadership and contribute to our standards for curb appeal and reliable operations. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain the propertys physical assets to preserve curb appeal and functionality
- 2Drive safety compliance and enforce all safety measures across the community
- 3Own shop organization, inventory control, and equipment upkeep to minimize downtime
- 4Support management with adherence to community policies and procedures
- 5Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants
- 6Assist in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance maintenance as needed
- 7Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance needs and elevate resident experience
- 8Maintain secure key control and security of company assets
- 9Collaborate with team to uphold brand standards across property operations
- 10Contribute to a positive, high-performing onsite culture
Requirements9
- 1At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a community setting
- 2Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building maintenance
- 3Proficient in written and spoken English
- 4Able to use computers and related applications
- 5Customer-service oriented with strong teamwork and communication skills
- 6Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions
- 7Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to maintenance challenges
- 8Demonstrated reliability and flexibility in a hands-on role
