Maintenance Supervisor, Food Manufacturing & Plant Reliability
Overview
Lead a maintenance team in a highly automated food production facility, driving preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement at scale. You will partner with Production, Engineering and Quality to maximize plant performance and safety. This role offers first or second shift with competitive benefits and bonus opportunities.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and coach a team of maintenance technicians to achieve KPIs and reduce downtime
- 2Coordinate daily maintenance activities and prioritize work orders to meet production targets
- 3Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automated equipment to minimize downtime
- 4Drive preventative maintenance programs and ensure equipment reliability across the line
- 5Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvements to maintenance processes
- 6Partner with Production, Engineering and Quality to maximize plant performance
- 7Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures
- 8Assist with PLC and controls troubleshooting and documentation in CMMS
- 9Promote a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
- 10Maintain CMMS records, work orders and maintenance documentation
Requirements11
- 1Previous maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing
- 2Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- 3Experience managing preventative and reactive maintenance programs
- 4Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- 5Experience leading maintenance priorities in a production environment
- 6Strong leadership and communication skills
- 7Preferred experience in food manufacturing or USDA-regulated environments
- 8SQF or food safety systems knowledge
- 9PLC troubleshooting experience
- 10Automation and robotics experience
- 11Electrical certification or technical training
