What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct regular inspections of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate
- 2Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical mechanical plumbing and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals
- 3Operate tools such as welders ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems accurately
- 4Manage facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting carpentry and general upkeep to ensure a clean and safe environment
- 5Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to document work orders track maintenance activities and schedule future tasks
- 6Supervise junior team members or contractors during complex repair projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed
- 7Collaborate with team members to develop efficient maintenance routines that minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
Requirements8
- 1Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong understanding of mechanical systems schematics and electrical components
- 2Hands-on skills in welding electrical troubleshooting and residential painting are highly desirable
- 3Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers used in manufacturing or building automation systems
- 4Ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- 5Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork coordination
- 6Supervising experience or leadership qualities that enable effective team management on maintenance projects
- 7Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking is preferred
- 8Basic customer service skills to interact professionally with internal teams or external vendors
