Maintenance Porter, Parking Facility Operations
Overview
You will own the upkeep of a premier parking facility in Downtown Miami, ensuring it stays clean, safe, and operational for clients and customers. You will work part-time, Monday through Friday, 12pm to 8pm, alongside a dedicated team that includes the Parking Manager and Building Management. This role blends hands-on maintenance with customer interaction, offering a supportive environment where your work directly impacts the customer experience. What You'll Do8
- 1Sweep, mop, and remove debris to keep all areas spotless within your first 30 days.
- 2Conduct basic maintenance checks, including equipment inspections and minor repairs, to prevent issues.
- 3Operate pressure washers, sweepers, and blowers to maintain facility surfaces.
- 4Assist with painting, power washing, and other general upkeep tasks as assigned.
- 5Complete special assignments from management, documenting all maintenance activities in detail.
- 6Notify management promptly about necessary repairs or supply needs to avoid downtime.
- 7Represent TruPark with professionalism and courtesy, assisting customers and team members with directions or concerns.
- 8Communicate any safety or maintenance issues immediately to the team.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of maintenance or custodial experience (3+ years preferred).
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- 4Ability to operate maintenance equipment such as pressure washers and sweepers.
- 5Problem-solving and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.
- 6Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
