What You'll Do16

  • 1Actively pursue and correct problems with components and systems throughout the facility
  • 2Knowledge of automated packaging machinery operation troubleshooting and repair
  • 3Knowledge of pump theory operation and repair
  • 4Knowledge of pneumatic principles application troubleshooting and repair
  • 5Knowledge of hydraulic principles application troubleshooting and repair
  • 6Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • 7Work safely with low and high voltage circuits
  • 8Diagnose electric motor motor control and device control problems
  • 9Troubleshoot and repair electrical control and power circuits
  • 10Repair electrically controlled equipment including PLC solid state equipment
  • 11Weld gas and arc and solder
  • 12Basic knowledge of steam hot water compressed air refrigeration systems
  • 13Basic plumbing and carpentry skills
  • 14Identify and order parts and materials from manuals prints
  • 15Communicate oral and written instructions
  • 16Complete Standard Timing Model mechanical test with a score of 60% or better
