Overview
Palomar Laundry seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial laundry equipment ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency. The engineer will perform diagnostics, repairs, and installations while collaborating with operations to minimize downtime.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial laundry equipment
- 2Troubleshoot mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues
- 3Repair and maintain washers dryers tunnel washers ironers conveyors compressors boilers pumps
- 4Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions
- 5Maintain organized workshop spare parts inventory and maintenance records
- 6Work closely with Operations team to minimize downtime
- 7Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- 8Assist with equipment installations upgrades and facility improvements
- 9Respond to emergency maintenance issues when needed
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Mechanical background
- 3Electrical troubleshooting (480V/3-phase preferred)
- 4Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- 5Ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams
- 6Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- 7Reliable transportation
- 8Professional references from previous employers
