What You'll Do8

  • 1Repair and troubleshoot industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, and conveyor systems to keep production running.
  • 2Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, reducing unplanned downtime by 20% in your first 90 days.
  • 3Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding plus cutting and brazing for equipment repairs and modifications.
  • 4Test boiler water chemistry and adjust treatments to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • 5Respond to emergency alarms and resolve safety concerns within the facility.
  • 6Inspect and monitor work completed by outside service vendors for quality and compliance.
  • 7Maintain maintenance records and inventory supplies to support continuous operations.
  • 8Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners on equipment repair and safety protocols.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial or military setting.
  • 2High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3Read and interpret maintenance literature and blueprints in English.
  • 4Basic Microsoft Office skills for documentation and reporting.
  • 5Preferred: boiler knowledge and HVAC experience.
  • 6Preferred: welding skills in MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
  • 7Stand for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift.
