Overview
SunVena seeks a skilled MPU Battery Technician to join the service team. The role reports to the Service Manager and supports diagnostics troubleshooting preventive and corrective maintenance for MPU and battery systems. Candidates must travel to customer locations perform installations and provide usage guidance. Success requires strong technical mechanical abilities and familiarity with hand power tools and diagnostic gear.
What You'll Do15
- 1Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on MPU systems battery inverters and storage units
- 2Assist in commissioning battery storage and monitoring systems during installations
- 3Ensure proper setup of MPU and battery storage equipment
- 4Conduct re-roofing roof repairs and drywall fixes as required
- 5Install hardware MPU units battery modules and inverters
- 6Commission inverters and inspect battery storage components
- 7Execute electrical wiring for AC and DC MPU systems
- 8Test voltage levels following established PPE and procedure protocols
- 9Follow organizational quality management and safety standards
- 10Provide troubleshooting support for inverter production losses
- 11Utilize monitoring equipment such as Cat5 Zigbee routers and range extenders
- 12Assist with inverter debugging involving subpanels conduit bending and circuit relocation
- 13Maintain awareness of electrical panel basics and standalone metering tools
- 14Document all work through RMAs and project logs
- 15Complete required RMA processes and maintain accurate records

- 1Valid state driver's license
- 2Ability to travel overnight within Florida
- 3Physical stamina to lift 50lbs plus work in confined spaces
- 4Experience with electrical troubleshooting power outages shorts and faults
- 5Knowledge of battery storage systems Enphase Tesla SolarEdge and metering equipment
- 6Familiarity with MPU and backup systems
- 7Commitment to safety and adherence to environmental health and safety regulations
- 8Strong mechanical skills for racking module and electrical equipment installation
- 9Willingness to work in varied weather conditions
- 10Basic understanding of subpanel operations conduit bending and circuit relocation
- 11Pass drug screening prior to employment
