Overview
LPQ team members own the guest experience at Le Pain Quotidien, a 35-year-old brand rooted in warmth and community. You'll handle service, drink prep, and retail sales, supporting a welcoming environment across the dining room and retail space. This role stands out for its cross-training and growth potential within Convive Brands, including California Pizza Kitchen and Little Beet. You'll bring genuine empathy to every guest interaction while mastering daily operations.
What You'll Do9
- 1Provide friendly, attentive service from greeting to farewell, anticipating guest needs.
- 2Prepare all drinks for retail and dining room, including batched drinks for the retail counter.
- 3Bag, box, and arrange to-go food and pastry, ensuring accurate orders.
- 4Process sales transactions per LPQ cash handling policy.
- 5Maintain and refresh pastry displays throughout the day.
- 6Master full knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
- 7Handle guest issues with empathy, escalating to management when needed.
- 8Complete opening, mid, and closing duties, including daily checklists and side work.
- 9Answer phones with proper etiquette, taking orders accurately.
Requirements5
- 11-3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
- 2POS experience, especially Toast, a plus.
- 3Flexible schedule, though not required.
- 4Ability to cross-train in all dining room and retail areas preferred.
- 5Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
