What You'll Do8

  • 1Supervise CNAs STNAs and other direct care staff
  • 2Plan assign and direct work based on resident needs and staff capabilities
  • 3Prepare work assignments adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
  • 4Receive staffing calls and arrange replacements as needed
  • 5Transfer employees among units according to staffing demands
  • 6Complete performance evaluations for CNAs STNAs
  • 7Adjust break schedules and resolve staff concerns
  • 8Use independent judgment following company policies and applicable laws

  • 1Current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • 2CPR certification within 90 days of employment
  • 3Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute settings
