What You'll Do11
- 1Install and maintain Cat5/Cat6 fiber and coax structured cabling systems
- 2Perform conduit installation cable dressing and termination inside IDF/MDF cabinets
- 3Configure CCTV and network devices
- 4Lead small teams on multi-week projects ensuring timely safe budget delivery
- 5Read and interpret blueprints and site maps
- 6Operate BOOM and scissor lifts for work at heights up to 40+ feet
- 7Conduct system testing and ensure compliance with safety standards
- 8Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with clients and team members
- 9Drive projects from conception through completion
- 10Obtain necessary certifications such as BICSI OSHA MSHA
- 11Travel extensively 4-6 weeks at a time with flexible shift availability
Requirements6
- 1Valid driver’s license with clean driving record no DUI/DWI in last 3 years
- 2Reliable personal transportation
- 3Basic telecom tools and PPE
- 45+ years hands-on experience with low-voltage systems structured cabling networking POS
- 5Experience with fusion splicing
- 6DSX cable certification testing
