What You'll Do11

  • 1Install terminate test and troubleshoot low-voltage systems and cabling
  • 2Pull route dress label and organize low-voltage cable
  • 3Perform copper and fiber terminations and testing
  • 4Install cable trays J-hooks sleeves supports and other pathways
  • 5Mount low-voltage devices and equipment
  • 6Read and interpret drawings blueprints and installation plans
  • 7Follow project specifications and installation standards
  • 8Identify and resolve installation issues in the field
  • 9Maintain a clean organized safe job site
  • 10Work independently or as part of a field team
  • 11Communicate effectively with project managers foremen and technicians

Requirements10

  • 14+ years of hands-on commercial low-voltage experience preferred
  • 2Experience in AV structured cabling fiber optics or conduit
  • 3OSHA and SST certifications required
  • 4Ability to read low-voltage drawings and project documentation
  • 5Proficiency with common hand and power tools
  • 6Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
  • 7Attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • 8Reliable vehicle preferred
  • 9Ability to travel to multiple New York metropolitan area job sites
  • 10Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
