What You'll Do8

  • 1Install and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling across commercial spaces.
  • 2Terminate RJ45 connectors, jacks, and patch panels to spec.
  • 3Hang Unistrut and support infrastructure for cable pathways.
  • 4Install wall-mounted cabinets and telecom hardware.
  • 5Test and troubleshoot copper cabling with a fluke tester.
  • 6Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure safety.
  • 7Follow all jobsite safety requirements, including OSHA standards.
  • 8Fiber splice fiber optic cables when needed (preferred).

Requirements8

  • 12+ years of commercial low voltage installation experience.
  • 2Must complete work independently with minimal supervision.
  • 3Reliable transportation to job site in Ashville, OH (Columbus area).
  • 4Ability to work Monday through Saturday, including overtime.
  • 5Own basic hand tools, punch-down tool, snips, and standard low-voltage tools.
  • 6Own PPE: hard hat, high-visibility vest, and work boots.
  • 7Read basic blueprints and follow installation plans.
