Overview
The Loss Prevention Agent at UNIQLO oversees inventory management and shortage reduction while ensuring a safe shopping environment. This role reports to both the Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager and serves as a security specialist. The agent trains staff on policies, identifies shoplifters, and collaborates with leadership to strengthen store security culture.
What You'll Do11
- 1Train store team members on loss prevention and safety policies
- 2Ensure compliance from all store team members
- 3Identify, apprehend and detain shoplifters according to company guidelines
- 4Lead associate awareness efforts and generate leads for internal investigations
- 5Focus on proper inventory management practices
- 6Investigate issues and educate teams on procedures
- 7Inspect compliance with safety policies through store visits
- 8Identify safety or loss risks and notify management immediately
- 9Support loss prevention management with audits and inventory counts
- 10Assist with special projects as assigned
- 11Maintain confidentiality and manage employee relations
Requirements5
- 1Strong knowledge of computer applications including Security Software and Excel
- 2Experience with CCTV equipment and surveillance systems
- 3Ability to understand federal state and local laws
- 4Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- 5Valid driver's license for travel to assigned stores
