What You'll Do9
- 1Transport goods between locations, managing your own schedule and route.
- 2Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, catching issues before they start.
- 3Plan safe, efficient routes using GPS and traffic data.
- 4Meet delivery deadlines without sacrificing safety or compliance.
- 5Maintain accurate logs in Samsara, recording hours and stops.
- 6Comply with all company policies and DOT, Federal, and State regulations.
- 7Communicate with dispatch, sending and receiving messages electronically.
- 8Manage reefer temperature settings for perishable loads.
- 9Ensure cargo is secure and properly documented.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of verifiable long haul over the road experience.
- 2Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- 3Experience pulling 53' trailers and operating reefer units.
- 4Valid long form medical certificate.
- 5Familiarity with GPS systems and electronic logs like Samsara.
- 6Ability to use a smartphone for dispatch messages and logs, with hotspot enabled.
- 7Clean PSP and Clearinghouse reports.
- 8Pass a background check and drug screening.
- 9Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances, OTR only.
