Logistics Technician, Shipping & Receiving
Overview
Own the incoming and outgoing flow of materials, reagents, and instruments for a Boston-based logistics team. Coordinate with lab support to meet customer expectations for domestic and international shipments. Report to the Logistics Manager in Waltham, working on-site from 11:30am to 8pm. This role drives inventory accuracy through pick/pack/ship and inventory management systems.
What You'll Do6
- 1Pick, pack, and ship finished goods for domestic and international orders by printing and applying labels for manufactured components.
- 2Assemble completed components into finished goods and stock them in the inventory management system.
- 3Run inventory spot checks, process digital and physical transaction requests, and handle warehouse transfers.
- 4Execute issuance requests and digital scrap requests to maintain accurate stock levels.
- 5Coordinate with lab support to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- 6Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area to support workflow.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 21+ year of organizational and time management experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.
- 3Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
- 4Comfort standing for 60-90% of the shift.
- 5Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- 6Strong attention to detail for accurate labeling and packing.
