Logistics Technician - RTX Boston
Overview
The Logistics Technician supports inventory operations at RTX Westford facility. This ONSITE role involves receiving storing issuing and shipping materials while maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include kitting parts performing cycle counts and supporting audits. The position requires proficiency with warehouse equipment and data entry systems. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
What You'll Do11
- 1Receive checks stores issues and ship items while maintaining inventory control
- 2Kitting required parts for program assembly using manual and powered equipment
- 3Complete inventory cycle counts and perform regular data entry tasks
- 4Support department audits and provide inventory data for reports
- 5Load unload store and deliver incoming and outgoing material using assistance devices
- 6Maintain cleanliness in equipment areas and storage spaces
- 7Retrieve and fulfill customer requests through various transaction types
- 8Apply Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills for data management
- 9Follow ESD controlled environment protocols during material handling
- 10Obtain and maintain government security clearance as required for access
- 11Upskill in DoD clearance processes and maintain accurate records
Requirements11
- 1HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience
- 2Ability to lift 15 lbs unassisted and operate equipment for heavier loads
- 3Experience with climbing bending stretching and reaching tasks
- 4Proficiency in ESD controlled environments
- 5Government security clearance eligibility
- 6Strong communication and customer service skills
- 7Basic math skills for accurate counting and data entry
- 8Experience with DoD contractors and ITAR regulations
- 9Preferred SAP experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems
- 10Multi-tasking abilities and strong work ethic
- 11Prior stockroom experience preferred
