Overview
As Logistics Coordinator at Big Bolt, you own inbound and outbound shipments in a high-volume fastener manufacturing environment. What You'll Do8
- 1Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries using UPS and freight carriers.
- 2Act as the primary internal expeditor between Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Sales.
- 3Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading and shipping documentation daily.
- 4Investigate and resolve UPS claims and freight-related issues with carriers.
- 5Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records using NetSuite ERP.
- 6Assist with month-end inventory counts and shipping adjustments.
- 7Identify and resolve logistics issues while improving operational efficiency in the first 90 days.
- 8Support cross-functional teams with real-time shipment status and documentation.
Requirements10
- 12+ years in Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations.
- 2Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.
- 3Experience preparing and reviewing Bills of Lading.
- 4Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- 5Basic Microsoft Excel skills for tracking and reporting.
- 6Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 7Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- 8Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
- 9Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting in a warehouse setting.
- 10NetSuite ERP experience is a plus.
