Overview
Manage daily shipping and receiving operations at a high volume facility. Oversee freight documentation and resolve carrier or inventory issues using advanced warehouse management systems. Lead process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Do7
- 1Ship and receive inbound and outbound cargo while directing trucks and carriers
- 2Resolve dock scheduling conflicts and address late pickups or damage claims
- 3Export processing and generate compliance paperwork including shipping labels
- 4Process customer returns within the warehouse management system and verify inventory counts
- 5Order and manage CHEP and white wood pallets while reconciling pallet inventory
- 6Track shipping metrics and maintain SOP compliant filing systems
- 7Provide shift level documentation and communicate status updates to leadership
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 2–3 years warehouse shipping receiving experience
- 2Proficiency in a Warehouse Management System and Microsoft Excel
- 3Familiarity with shipping documents and export paperwork
- 4Knowledge of pallet control systems such as CHEP and white wood
- 5Ability to work in a fast paced environment
