Litigation Legal Assistant - Miami Firm
Overview
The firm seeks a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant in Miami with 5-10 years of commercial litigation expertise. This onsite role requires a punctual 10:00 a.m. start time. Candidates will manage diverse practice areas including commercial, real estate, employment, and intellectual property litigation across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate excels in using Microsoft Office Suite and court filing systems while delivering exceptional client service.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare file serve pleadings motions and discovery through state and federal e-filing platforms
- 2Maintain organized electronic case files containing pleadings discovery and client documents
- 3Assist with discovery processes by drafting templates organizing production materials and bates labeling
- 4Draft proofread and format litigation documents including tables of contents and authorities
- 5Create hearing mediation deposition and trial materials using Westlaw resources
- 6Communicate professionally with clients courts and opposing counsel regarding case logistics
- 7Schedule calls meetings hearings depositions and court appearances managing calendars and logistics
- 8Provide administrative support including answering calls scanning documents and processing mail
Requirements5
- 1Associate degree required with minimum 5 years litigation experience
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook Excel Adobe Acrobat and court portals
- 3Experience with Spark Airflow and AWS certified professionals
- 4Minimum 3-5 years handling complex legal documentation
- 5Ability to commute from Coral Gables FL 33134 location
