Litigation Attorney, Personal Injury - Philadelphia
Overview
Handle a full caseload of personal injury claims from filing through trial at Kanner & Pintaluga, a firm with 100+ lawyers and 30 offices that recovered $1 billion+ for clients. You will own client relationships, negotiate with insurers, and try cases to verdict. Work in a team-oriented office environment with 3-5 years of litigation experience and a Pennsylvania Bar license.
What You'll Do8
- 1Meet with clients to discuss case facts, show empathy, and earn their trust and confidence from the first 90 days.
- 2Communicate with insurance companies on claim status, demands, and offers to push settlements forward.
- 3Prepare cases for trial by drafting motions, discovery, and trial exhibits.
- 4Try cases to verdict in state court when settlement is not possible.
- 5Evaluate claims for liability and damages to determine case value and strategy.
- 6Update clients on case progress to maintain transparency and satisfaction.
- 7Collaborate with support staff and other attorneys to align on case goals.
- 8Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and adjusters to maximize client recovery.
Requirements9
- 13-5 years of personal injury litigation experience.
- 2Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- 3Member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.
- 4Ability to evaluate claims, including liability and damages.
- 5Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable settlements.
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 7Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- 8Work independently in an office environment.
- 9Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
