What You'll Do11

  • 1Administer a wide range of protected leaves including FMLA ADA state-specific military parental and personal leaves
  • 2Serve as the primary point of contact for employees managers and HR partners regarding leave inquiries
  • 3Assess employee eligibility based on federal state and company policies
  • 4Collaborate with HR leadership and legal teams to develop update and communicate leave policies
  • 5Provide training on leave policies procedures and best practices
  • 6Manage high-volume leave applications extensions and changes
  • 7Coordinate with healthcare providers and third-party administrators to obtain documentation
  • 8Analyze complex leave cases such as intermittent and concurrent leaves
  • 9Maintain detailed records and generate reports on utilization compliance and trends
  • 10Collaborate with legal counsel to address complex leave issues
  • 11Other duties as assigned

Requirements13

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons experience in leave of absence administration
  • 3Bachelor’s degree in human resources business administration or related field
  • 4California leave experience required
  • 5Strong knowledge of FMLA ADA and other relevant laws
  • 6Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • 7Experience in policy development interpretation and implementation
  • 8Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements
  • 9Analytical skills to interpret and manipulate data
  • 10Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • 11Professional certifications CCP PHR SHRM-CP preferred
  • 12Experience with Workday systems
  • 13Unionized environment experience preferred
