Leasing Consultant, Multifamily Sales & Marketing
Overview
You will own the leasing pipeline at Arlington Hills, turning prospects into signed leases and driving occupancy across our 300-unit community. You'll partner with a supportive team and report to the Property Manager, while sharpening your sales skills daily. What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct property tours and highlight community amenities with Yardi data at your fingertips.
- 2Convert inbound calls and emails into scheduled tours, then follow up to close leases within 48 hours.
- 3Screen applicants using background checks and income verification, then prepare lease documents in RealPage.
- 4Hit monthly leasing targets by tracking lead sources and adjusting your pitch based on market data.
- 5Resolve resident issues on the spot, escalating to the Property Manager only for structural delays.
- 6Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, inspecting units with a checklist to ensure Fair Housing compliance.
- 7Plan two resident events per quarter, boosting renewals and referral traffic.
- 8Update MS Office spreadsheets daily with traffic, occupancy, and renewal stats.
- 9Post and refresh listings on Apartments.com and social media, and scout local businesses for partnerships.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 21+ year in sales, customer service, or property management leasing.
- 3Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- 5Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- 6Experience with property management software like Yardi, RealPage, or AppFolio (preferred).
- 7Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations (preferred).
- 8Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 9Bilingual a plus.
