Lead the lease administration and real estate legal operations for a national portfolio at scale. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and optimize lease administration and property management for Carvana's national portfolio, ensuring rigorous contract tracking and operational discipline
- 2Build and develop a high-performing team, set expectations, coach, and enforce accountability across staff and third-party vendors
- 3Own landlord communications and high-stakes portfolio obligations, representing Carvana as a credible partner in external interactions
- 4Design and maintain systems for COI management, CAM reconciliations, rent, tax and utility payments, insurance compliance, and related portfolio tasks with scale in mind
- 5Oversee data integrity in portfolio databases and ensure accurate, current information across real estate platforms
- 6Develop portfolio intelligence by synthesizing data from real estate, analytics, legal, and operations for leadership visibility
- 7Collaborate with Real Estate and Licensing teams to ensure smooth project launches and portfolio additions
- 8Coordinate cross-functional dependencies when adding real estate to prevent operational launch blockers
- 9Lead reviews of leases, estoppels, SNDAs, and related documents, providing clear summaries with risk and obligation guidance
- 10Manage estoppels, SNDAs, access requests, subordination and related legal workflows from initiation to execution with internal support from Legal
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
- 215+ years of directly relevant experience in commercial property management, real estate legal operations, or in-house real estate
- 3Experience in LOI/lease review, acquisition or disposition support, and a transactional real estate context
- 4Demonstrated legal fluency in reviewing leases and related real estate documents and determining when escalation is needed
- 5Experience partnering with deal teams, brokers, and outside counsel in a transactional setting
- 6Lease commencement and site readiness experience coordinating with multiple teams and landlords
- 7Proven people leadership in high-accountability environments
- 8Independent operator capable of strategic decision-making and timely escalation
- 9Advanced and applied AI proficiency with demonstrated track record of reliable workflows
- 10Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Wrike, G Suite and similar tools
